Howdy Peter, Connie and Derek (you may remember me from when I stayed at your place a few times with Tim a couple years ago while doing some building work on Macumba) While I was there the main talking point was the Derek winning the Kidman cup, earlier this year I saw him on the tv again this time discovering prehistoric bones. I’m sure there was another time he managed to get on a documentory with that other friend of Tims with the Camel tours (Phil Gee I think), can’t remember the topic. I can only imagine the stories you talk about on your tours. Even though I haven’t taken the tour I can confidently say that anyone that does will not be disappointed with the unusual scenery and the interesting company. Hope to get up that way again some time. PS there should be a note or link to your underground pottery place because that is one of the nicest dug out’s that I came across in Coober Pedy. Nice work of all different kinds and the big pots are useful too.
