I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a message.
Peter is a true bush man and very passionate about the place he has chosen to call home. He kept the four of us “lucky” passengers entertained for hours and hours with his stories/anecdotes/history about the desert, the bush and anything else that was brought up. The backdrop to the stories was the desert, the odd remote Australian towns and the vast cattle ranches, where we stopped to drop off mail and goods from the outside world.
If you are in Coober Pedy, and have a full day to spare – this is a must do.
